Just a lonely boy living on his own instance (Now with SO).
Natural screw up, who often can not make a proper post.
Normally I just post about whatever my ADHD hyper focus at the moment is.

I deal in Random Access Memory & Random Access Memory Accessories

:archlinux: & :gentoo: is what I mainly run and happy with it. I hope you find software that you are happy to run and use.

Alt account (when I break my instance):

@philbetts This makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the info blobsmile

TIL requests is not part of the #Python standard library

Just one of those libs that are around so often I guess it was always installed. blobsmilesweat

First time I have seen waifu art for #Vim

I am a mess.

Just having that fear I always have when I work on stuff. Hey I did not need to roll my own thing there was a solution in plan sight my brain wants to make harder than it is.

Always makes me wanna just give up blobfoxangrylaugh

Streamlink has a builtin API, why am I working so hard by managing it externally through Python subprocesses.

Since I plan to just cut out the middle man anyway might as well go all the way in.

Night before surgery again and can't sleep. I just want to be rested why is this so hard.

We are getting into "This script is gonna need a config file" territory which idk why but shes the program into a whole other tier of effort and complication in my brain. a2bboom

Here’s the recent 4 drawings that I did around March for reference~

Lutris 0.5.17 is almost out, introducing support for Proton with umu and library sync to Lutris.net!

If you know how to use Lutris from git, please give it a quick test and report any issues so we don't ship them in the final release!

Might be easier to just use streamlink directly and use the parameters dl-stream does because I can not seem to get it to kill the streamlink subprocess cleanly when killing dl-stream ablobpanic

@Baa dl-stream uses streamlink. The reason I prefer to use it over straight streamlink is due to some of the quality of life features. For example using TTVLOL to try and get around ads in the vods, and just converting the stream to a MP4 once the stream is downloaded.

You can read more about it on its project page:
https://codeberg.org/bashuser30/dl-stream

It is far from perfect but good enough for now. Should clean some things up and make it look a bit nicer soon.

@mangeurdenuage @moth_ball I think it comes from a place of they don't wanna be the one "wrong". Oh the HDD is dead and can't be fixed? Well you are the one in the wrong for not being able to fix it. I am the smart victim. I see it all the time when people order ECC Registered RAM for their laptops and get upset at me they didn't read the listing they bought from that states in 6 different places that it is server RAM and will not work on consumer desktops and laptops. But hey what do I know? Can only control what you do not what others do.

Either way you did good in the situation, in fact I would say you did your best in the situation. I would not let someone who is not capable of seeing that try to rob you of that. Keep up the good work ! ablobhydraulicpress

Really frustrated that I can't find an easy way to have dl-stream run once someone goes live automagically. This may be something I just need to make myself.

All gone ablobdrool
