You can be the most transparent and honest human you can be and there will still be people who won't trust you, in this case because I didn't told the dude what he wanted to hear.

@mangeurdenuage tell what they want to hear, but charge a lot for it :l_heh:

@romin I'm too stupid to do that.

@mangeurdenuage just buy my course™️ and it'll teach you everything you need to know

@mangeurdenuage Trying to get everyone to like you is a really hard habit to drop

@moth_ball I'm not even trying to make anyone like me in this case (I know I can't and that's ok), I'm just trying to do my job, and the dude can't recognize, and doesn't want to recognize a crashed car from a brand new one and blames me for the issue. Fuck this.

@mangeurdenuage I feel that. At work there have been plenty of situations where clients will come to seek help but somehow still treat me as an antagonist who has ill intentions.

Some people just want to be upset.

@moth_ball
>Some people just want to be upset.
I think it's deeper than this but yes they are upset.

@mangeurdenuage When the entire situation is absurd, the motive is often equally pointless

@mangeurdenuage @moth_ball I think it comes from a place of they don't wanna be the one "wrong". Oh the HDD is dead and can't be fixed? Well you are the one in the wrong for not being able to fix it. I am the smart victim. I see it all the time when people order ECC Registered RAM for their laptops and get upset at me they didn't read the listing they bought from that states in 6 different places that it is server RAM and will not work on consumer desktops and laptops. But hey what do I know? Can only control what you do not what others do.

Either way you did good in the situation, in fact I would say you did your best in the situation. I would not let someone who is not capable of seeing that try to rob you of that. Keep up the good work ! ablobhydraulicpress
