is this gonna be a niche machine or what? I gave gentoo a shot once but having to rebuild a lot of shit because I don't use a minimal system made me give up after I had nearly everything set up
@mischievoustomato It is my Thinkpad X230 laptop that I use at dialysis for 12 or so hours a week for light programming, web surfing, ssh, & media playback. I have always been curious about Gentoo after being a long term Arch user (still am on my main desktop). So I would say it is more of a learning experience (which I have already learned a lot as is)
