The Raspberry Pi cluster performs surprisingly decent considering it’s… well, raspberry pis

@rain I’m rather happy with it so far yes. I haven’t hit any snags except for my own fuckups.

@quad what have you been doing with it

@benis So far it only runs librenms, nginx and two pi-holes

@quad don't forget to overclock them to 2GHz. My 8GB model manages perfectly well at over_voltage=4 and I'm not sure that's the minimum stable voltage either

@quad admittedly that's in a dissipating case so I don't know whether yours are going to be hot enough to have worse Hz/V

@benis i don't really plan to overclock them much. 1.4GHz, at least for now is plenty. they run nice and cold too even without a heatsink on them

@quad @benis make sure you split the two piholes onto pi's that are on different powerbricks incase one of them were to fail.

@pantsu @benis Won't really help much, because if a power brick fails there's like a 50/50 chance that my cluster will fail, since one power brick will have the majority of cluster votes
