people are actually using tokens on ethereum, that is the big difference between bitcoin and eth. I abandoned it on btc because there was no adoption.
@Moon Mind you I am not in the space as deep as others. Though from what I have seen BTC is treated as a gold brick and very few want it to be used any other way.

@Moon many comments on the abilities of btc vs eth are of the "No wireless. Less space than a Nomad. Lame" variety
@lain I don't expect them to be the same but sometimes it's like "we can do that too (but nobody does so it's worthless)"
@Moon @lain Is anyone actually using tokens on other platforms? I’m biased but it seems like they’re just being used as another speculative asset. There are some cool things that could be done with tokens, but none of them have materialized afaik, and this is why tokens-on-bitcoin never took off, except that was long before shitcoin mania where a ton of money was injected into crypto markets.
