GOing through all of these custom #NetHack build systems make me feel like a wizkid when I am really not.

I think I am gonna make a public #NetHack web-tiles server for my self (any others if anyone else cares)

@rain beautiful! 😍😮
After playing with the #NetHack Web Tiles repo more I was able to get it set up and hosted on one of my servers. Just need to get SSL set up and I can make it public

Okay friends it is more or less set up. I have made a personal #NetHack WebTiles server where anyone can play or you can watch others play. Anyone reading this is welcome just please be nice to others.

You can play on almost any modern web browser for Desktop or Phone!
This server is based off of the development branch of this git repo:
https://github.com/refracta/NetHack-Webtiles/tree/develop
So please note there may be interface bugs here and there.
Or the server may just catch fire and die!
Also when you register please user a throw away or generated password.
The application requires you to submit a email address, though let it be known I am not going to use it to spam you nor do I think you will be able to recover your password with it so you can enter whatever.
For WebTiles specific configuration & features please see the wiki:
https://github.com/refracta/NetHack-Webtiles/wiki
(the gifs attached come from here as well)
For NetHack specific configuration ("RC file") please see here:
https://nethackwiki.com/wiki/Options
You can find out more about the project here:
https://webtiles.nethack.live/
If you decide to play, hope you have fun dungeon crawling.

Oh also just in-case you don't know what #NetHack is:

After playing and enjoying my #NetHack server I think I am going to spin up a Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (aka #DCSS or #crawl) web server as well. This will also be mostly used for me personally but of course open to all when I get it up (hopefully) later today. I plan to just start with DCSS trunk but once I get that up I want to add 0.26.1 stable and my favorite fork #bcrawl stable.

Hmmmm this may be a bit harder than I thought since getting it set up behind #nginx is a little bit more effort than I use to and I really do not want to have a address with a port number on the end. So will need to tinker a bit more.

Thank you for taking the time for a response.
Yes normally this would be the direction I would go to start trouble shooting but the issue is keeping a connection to the web socket created by the game. As in I believe the issue comes with me better understanding the we server DCSS creates and properly configuring it.
