Being referred to as "young person" almost exclusively at the dialysis clinic never stops feeling weird.

(So this is not how I tend to do things. Normally I would hole my self up and just not say anything. Though many people as of late has said I need to start speaking up and asking for help when I need it, so here goes nothing...)

I had to spend some time in the hospital recently, I was in some really rough shape and my family made me go in to get looked at. Turns out my timer in life has gotten even shorter as I am at Stage 5 kidney failure at the age of 31. As I begin treatment and adjust to what is the new normal in my life, the goal is to make it so I can get my partner ( @Rogue ) up from Australia sooner rather than later. Typically her and I would just save bit by bit for her to come up, although with treatment and my condition I am not sure what the future holds for me in terms of work and income.

With all of that said I am just going to share this link made for me by a trusted individual. I posting this early in the morning so no one will see it and it can just get ignored. After this I wont have to bring it up again and everyone can go back to making passing interactions with me and passing fake fedi stars around on posts.

The weirdest part of dialysis is the warmth of the blood from your body going in the tubes as it goes in the washing machine.

@Moon Wanted to check some of my PC-88 roms in my set. Which led me to check it against some checksums on RetroAchievements site. From there I just picked this game due to the easy to find name.

From here my brain told me I might as well beat the game real quick since it is only 7 levels and I like a good Qix clone.

I always think these things are cool and want to support it, but like I know i would never use this as the odds of me hooking up a #GameCube instead of just using Dolphin when I wanna play a #GameCube game is pretty much zero.
